Tip of the Day: How to make your projector display brighter

I was in a classroom today and the paper that was being projected from the doc camera was too dark for me to read.  There are a couple of ways to improve the display of your projected content, depending on where your original content is.

This was a piece of paper which was displayed through a document camera.  The first step I did was increase the brightness on the document camera, by using the up arrow on the doc camera itself.  After I did this it still needed to be brighter so I adjusted the projector brightness.

Projector:  With the remote, I selected menu.  The first icon across the top is the “Image” option.  It is automatically selected.  I just have to move the down arrow to the “Display Mode“.

“Display Mode”:  Display mode must be set to “User” or it will not allow you to change any of the options below it.  To change it to “User” just use the right arrow to click through the options.  Once “User” is selected, you can use the down arrow to move your way to “Brightness“.  I moved the brightness up to 70 by using the right arrow.

The paper that once displayed gray, was now white!
